Grant Writer Experienced with CFA

A specialist in professional Grant Writing for years, with roles as Director of Grant Development at the YMCA of Kingston and Ulster County and having been retained to investigate funding opportunities for the Town of Esopus, the Reher Center for Immigrant Culture and History, and the Town of Esopus Library where I serve as a Trustee. I also wrote grant proposals for Dutchess Community Action Agency and Boughton Place.

I am available to assist in your grant and development needs. The current time is especially important as the NYS CFA deadline is fast approaching and this may be a great opportunity for your organization to reap the benefits.

With a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and a long time college teaching career I bring an ability to analyze data an organization may already have and to design new metrics your organization can use to collect the data often so important in demonstrating effectiveness and credibility to a grantor. Experienced in designing curriculum and creating new programs, skills that are often helpful in assisting organizations to fine tune program descriptions so they can present themselves according to grantor needs. I make the grant process an easy one by working to understand your mission, objectives, and successes and restate them within the format required by a Grantor.

With a Ph.D. in Social Psychology, I came to grant writing and management from consulting on research and market exploration projects and from teaching at SUNY colleges: Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange. I have also taught at the private colleges Mt. Saint Mary and Marist. My background spans program evaluation, treatment assessment, research design and implementation, statistical analysis, and technical report writing.

My background in social sciences, research methods, and statistics enables me to examine data you already have about your organization and systematize it to use in grants proposals and reports. I can design new metrics you can use to collect data to report measurable observable results that funders, such as the State of New York, require. Funders are eager to see such measurable results. Funded organizations need to keep their projects and programs feasible and practical. I can balance those two needs as I write your grant proposal.

What I Can Do For You

I can file a New York State Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) for you and once you have been awarded the funds, track the data you collect, do whatever summary or analysis is necessary, report the details the state requires, and write the wrap-up report at the end of the grant period.

The TIME IS NOW to get your CFA ready for submission on July 27, 2018! The state predicts that the application will take at least 50 hours to prepare. It is time to move on it NOW.

If you aren’t sure if you are eligible for state funding and don’t know how to apply for it, I can help you direct your proposal toward the appropriate agency so you use your energy in the most lucrative way possible.

Preparing a CFA is one way to clarify your thoughts about a project. The application materials can be re-utilized in other grant proposals and I can assist in researching those multiple possibilities for your organization.
